Nicole: “Our first son loved ice cream but would have bad stomach issues every time he ate it. We soon realized that he was lactose intolerant.  We tried almost all of the dairy-free alternatives on the market and while they all purported to be healthy, they contained all of these artificial ingredients, tastes, and textures.

I remembered when I was studying for the Bar exam and ate only raw foods for about four months. I never felt such mental clarity in my life. I was so radiant and so healthy. I knew then that I wanted to feed my children an ice cream that was as raw and healthy as possible."

"We first started experimenting with cashew milk and almond milk that we made ourselves. Next, we experimented with natural sweeteners like maple syrup and agave. The kids finally found one they loved and we just built on that foundation from there.""We are very health-focused. We think that we'd be doing our kids and community a disservice by feeding them junk. By feeding them only the healthiest things, we are reflecting the healthy community that we want to live in.”
